For quite some time now I’ve been searching for a Medicom Bearbrick toy. I wanted to buy one and start paying more attention to my interior instead of clothing. A couple of weeks ago I was researching the Caliroots website (which I do very often). And there it was; the new collection of Medicom Toys!
Many cool designs, colours and collabs with amazing artists. Which made it very hard to choose. I wanted to buy the toy as a special occasion. You don’t buy these kinds of things every week. So it had to be perfect. After a lot of reconsidering, thinking and asking for people’s opinions I choose the Medicom Bearbrick Toy in collaboration with Pushead.
Pushead is an artist, record label owner, and writer of many famous hardcore punk and heavy metal music. He has created artworks for many album covers. But is for most of known by his designs for Thrasher and his two Nike Dunk Low designs.
The Toy has amazing colours and reminds me of an oil stain. I’ve combined it with several of the same coloured items and off course the mini version that came with it.
